outlets in Southern Africa. We not only carry
character socks (also called cartoon, cheeky,
funny socks or personalised clothing) but also stock
a wide range of formal, rugby, hockey and soccer
socks and various other designs from the
ordinary to the definitively crazy.
These
include, but are not limited to; toe socks,
leggings, slipper, sleep socks, religious themed
socks, sport socks, low cuts, children's socks,
beanies, gloves and scarves. Some our labels
are: Nicholacci, Lekka Sox, Bigsox , Can-A-Gift,
Relax Legs and Awetu. We often label on behalf
of some retail clients i.e. we supply the socks and
attach their specific label and barcode, basically
acting as their sock warehouse.

Why Socks?
Nearly everyone wears socks and most of us
have several pairs, many not matching as the
washing machine has mysteriously devoured their
partners. No-one wants to be seen wearing a sock
with a a hole in and a cheap sock makes your
feet sweaty and smelly. The industry in South
Africa is worth more than R1,5 billion rand!
Socks, although a fashion statement for some,
also acts as a functional if not essential item
for many. From a business point of view socks
has several distinct advantages i.e. a pair of
decent black socks will not get old on the
shelve, does not need to be refrigerated and
does not go out of fashion and will most
probably increase in price if you keep it long
enough!
A small retail store usually requires a minimum
investment of around R120 000 plus and can be
